I go through your hair, comb it with my fingers. I push it out of your beautiful face.
I love to play with your long hair. curl it around my fingers.

I kiss your forehead. not once, not twice. you like what I do, you close your eyes.
I've never kissed someone's eyelids before. yours are so soft. you look so beautiful. so peaceful. so good.

stop giggling, you're ruining it. I don't care if it tickles. your lips are too sweet for me to resist nibbling on them.
I know what you want, but you won't get it. not yet. it's too soon. I'm not done with admiring your lips yet.
soft, small kisses on the corners of your mouth. it's different kissing a smile. it's heaven.

if you happen to be a 16 year old and your mom's boyfriend offers to show you how to shave, then... LISTEN TO HIM.

cutting yourself is no fun. and applying aftershave after cutting yourself HURTS LIKE HELL. They shouldn't call it aftershave. They should call it fire in a bottle.

After this experience I strongly believe that using ducttape on your face and ripping your facial hair off would ACTUALLY BE LESS PAINFULL.

today on father's day I wonder how it would be like if you'd still be here.
you know, the perfect day.

We'd go outdoors, like the other fathers and sons.
We'd drink beer together, like the other fathers and sons.
We'd compete together against the other fathers and sons.
We'd win the trophy, making the other fathers and sons jealous.

You'd buy me ice cream, like you used to do. Except this time, I'd pay for yours.
You'd probably want to go kajaking, but I'm sorry, Dad. We sold the kajak after you had to go. There was no use for it anymore.

What if you'd be here and we could spend the day talking and you'd teach me things like why the sky is blue.

But all I can do is to visit you on days like today. Looking at you. Laying flowers at your feet.
For a brief moment we are together. We are finally together.
