My birthday is on next Wednesday. I'll turn 16.
"Sweet little sixteen" my ass. The only thing that is gonna change for me is that I will be legally allowed to drink beer in Germany. YAAAAY.
I am very mad at people around me who constantly keep on saying "but you're young, you'll get over it", "but you're young, you'll forget it", "but you're young, you don't have problems".
It's like you don't get recognized as a person. Noone sees you as a person with problems, needs and feelings.<
I have a friend, his name is Dirk. Dirk got beaten up after school by some asshole idiots. They left him with a heavily bleeding nose and stole his money. They did it for 5 fucking bucks.
Dirk is 14. He is an angel by heart. What sick bastard would hit a 14 year old for 5 Euro?
But instead of going to the police and talk to his son and make him feel better, his asshole of a dad talks down to him and says that he should have hit them back, he should have fought back.
His mom says that "he will forget it soon" but noone actually taks to him. He told me he has nightmares and in his dreams he hugs the feet of one of the attackers to make the kicking stop.
Why are people like this? Why do you have to do this to someone? What kind of pleasure do you get out of this?
sick bastards

There are plenty of despicable people out there. I am really sorry for your friend- that is terrible.
Happy early birthday! wow 16 is the legal drinking age...that is so much younger than the US. However, almost all 16 year olds in the US drink so its kind of pointless. I did when I was 16.
How are you and your boyfriend?
Steve
In my opinion, weak people beat up weaker people cause it makes them feel stronger. they bully other people because they think they are stronger than them and they want to show that. In truth they are so weak that they won't even have the courage to apologize for what they have done
Morons beating up other people are stupid. As simple as that. Don't know another way how to communicate to other individuals and always trying to cover their lack of cleverness.
Hope, your friend is going well (at least physically).
Joey
Oh, make no mistake, people don't do that for 5 bucks, they do it because they like to assert their own "power", their overblown ego stemming from some heavy personal insecurity more or less ensures that they hurt someone weaker.
Fighting back could quite possibly have only made things worse.
And no, people don't forget things just because they're young. I'm reminded of the story of Tina Fey's (Saturday Night Live) scar, she was slashed at 5 years old by a complete stranger. She still doesn't like talking about that. All being young means is that there's more time left to have happier moments, it doesn't make the horrid ones any less sad.
